She was ordained Deacon (1993) by Bishop Marshall Gilmore, Elder (1994) & Full-Connection (1996) by Bishop Thomas L. Hoyt, Jr. As an elder in the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Pastor Keys has endeavored to positively impact the lives of parishioners in Mississippi: Zion Hill (Tchula), Love Chapel (Winona), Perry Chapel (Itta Bena), Shady Grove (Lexington), Jeff Chapel (Black Hawk), and Bethel (Coila).  In Georgia, she was charged to pastor the emerging congregation at Tabernacle of Praise (Duluth) and later transferred to Israel Temple (Jackson).  In Alabama as pastor of Welcome Chapel (Hobson City, Al) and associate minister of Taylor’s Chapel (Pritchard, AL).  In California: Davis Chapel (Richmond) and St. Peter (El Cerrito). She was assigned to Bunton (Spartanburg, SC) in August 2015 as well as Presiding Elder of the Winston Salem-Greenville District comprises churches in North Carolina, South Carolina, & Virginia.  In 2021, she was assigned to Mount Olive (Lexington, SC). Her witness continued as she embraced the challenges of itinerate ministry and the joy of serving parishioners at Hill Chapel (Plano, TX). Pastor Keys fully asserts that it does not yet appear what God will do as she yields her life to the will of God.

This “Southern Rose” has not neglected to “study to show” herself approved for this audacious ministerial dispensation by successfully completing her educational pursuits: Bachelor of Business Accounting (2006) – Belhaven University, Jackson, MS; Master of Divinity & Christian Education (2010) – Interdenominational Theological Center, Atlanta, GA; Master of Finance (2012) – University South Alabama, Mobile, AL; Doctor in Ministry (2021) - Interdenominational Theological Center, Atlanta, GA

She is published in several meditations and journals. Pastor Keys is the author of “Drawing Closer to God” Lenten Meditation Series (2014); “The Spirit Has Left the Building” Pentecost Meditation Series (2015); “Are You Ready to Grow” Discipleship Training Manual (2016); “The Keys to Victorious Living” The Sermon on the Mount Bible Study (2017); “Contending for the Faith” The Epistle of Jude Bible Study (2017); “Pressing On To Maturity” The Book of Hebrews Bible Study (2017); and “Disruptive

Jesus” (2022).

Her ultimate desire is to be an active participate in the reigndom of God as God’s communities are empowered to live out the cultural mandate of good stewardship and healthy fellowship. As a wife, daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, Pastor Keys affirms: “God who began a good work in each of us will perform it until the coming of Jesus the Christ” (Philippians 1:6).
